In 2024, the focus is on redefining uniformity through
   subtle rebellion—emphasizing utilitarian aesthetics,
oversized silhouettes, and the blending of retro and
futuristic influences. There's a noticeable return to
practical design that reflects personality through
layering, playful textures and expressive proportions.

The collection explores a striking contrast
between timeless monochrome shades such as
black, white, grey and bold, expressive
accents inspired by trend forecasts for 2025
and 2026. Drawing from WGSN’s seasonal and
gender-inclusive colour palettes, some
brighter hues were inspired to bring energy
and contemporary relevance to the designs.
This dynamic combination reflects the harmony
between tradition and innovation, aligning
with the concept of reinterpreting Vietnamese
heritage through an inclusive lens.

The research into key shirt and trouser ideas for 2025/26
highlights a strong shift toward function-meets-fashion,
where practicality, versatility, and individuality take
center stage. Shirts are evolving with utility-driven
details such as chest pockets, zip fastenings, and layered
constructions, while also embracing refined silhouettes
and elevated fabrications that align with smart-casual
   aesthetics.
LEMAIRE SPRING 2021
The Nu-niforms concept played a key role in shaping my design development by reimagining traditional workwear through an inclusive lens. Inspired by the blending of utility and elegance, I focused on creating garments that are both functional and adaptable, while maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic. The concept's emphasis on gender-neutral styling, and smart detailing encouraged me to explore minimal finishes, and purposeful construction to balance structure with fluidity, creating pieces that reflect the evolving needs of contemporary lifestyles.
